HEALTH AWARENESS CAMP

Malda, 4th October, 2023 : To spread health awareness among the students and the common people indicatively, yesterday, ABC High School organized a health awareness camp in the school campus. A large number of students, teachers, ex-students including guardians, and some local interested people actively participated in the programme. The headmaster of the school graced the chair, and Dr Dipak Roy was the chief guest in the programme. The function was started at about 10 A.M. with a patriotic opening song sung by some students in chorus. A whole gamut of activities such as exhibition of charts, models and health promoting equipments, lectures, debates, plays on the theme of healthy habits were organized in the campus. Students participated in the activities quite enthusiastically. Some reputed doctors from different district hospitals were invited in this camp and they offered their voluntary services whole-heartedly. A workshop on low calorie cooking was also organized in which the students were taught how to make delicious low calorie dishes for themselves. The chief guest in his short but significant speech congratulated and appreciated the school’s initiative to promote healthy lifestyle habits among the youth. He also advised the attendants how to take care of their health, the most precious wealth. All guardians attended the programme also praised the school administration for organizing such an initiative programme.
