 UNSEEN [20 Marks] 

An unknown passage, especially an excerpt from a newspaper will be set in the question paper, and students (examinees) firstly should have to go through the passage carefully and then answer the questions given below the end of the passage. 

Question Pattern 

MCQ [Multiple Choice Questions] {6 of 6} 

[1 Mark Each => 1×6=6]

T/F With S/S [3 of 3]

               [2 Marks Each => 2×3=4]

LAQ [Long Answer-type Questions] {4 of 4} 
    [2 Marks Each => 2×4=8]

[Answer within 30 words]

 N.B. 

👉MCQ type is concept based /inference type question. 

👉LAQ type is information or knowledge based type question. 

👉MCQ questions will have four options and students have to complete the sentences choosing the correct answer from the alternatives given. 

👉MCQ questions will be of 1 Mark each.

👉LAQ questions will be of 2 Marks each.

VOCABULARY [08 Marks] 

Four similar meaning words will be given in this section. Students will have to find out the synonyms of these words from the unseen passage, and write them in the appropriate boxes on the right-hand side.
