TERRORISM
The word ‘terrorism’ comes from the word ‘terror’ which means intense, sharp and pervasive fear. Then ‘terrorism’ means the policy and action meant to create fear among people, specially the supposed enemies to achieve some end whatever political, economic or religious. Terrorism is now a global problem. It is the greatest menace countered by almost all the countries, today. Kidnapping, hijacking planes, cross borderterrorism, bombing, cyber terrorism are growing day by day. The terrorists use terror as a weapon to fulfil their demands. The effect of terrorism in all cases is the killing of innocent people on a large scale. Poverty, social and economical inequality, religious fanaticism and cultural crisis are some factors behind the spread of terrorism. To abolish terrorism, we need to re-build our world on the principles of equality, tolerance and universal brotherhood.
