CAREER GUIDANCE AND AWARENESS PROGRAMME

Malda, 4th October, 2023 : To create awareness amongst the students especially the students of class-X, XI and XII, yesterday, ABC High School organized a ‘Career Guidance and Awareness Programme’ in the school campus. Preparation for this programme had been going on for three days. A large number of students, teachers, ex-students including guardians attended the programme. A dias was made Nazrul Mancha was packed with students, guardians and enthusiasts. The headmaster of the institution took the chair. The honourable councillor of English Bazar Municipality Mr. Swapan Bose was the chief guest. Other guests included the honourable B.D.O. of the Malda block and the SI of schools . Some eminent social scholars also graced the occasion. At first, the students garlanded the guests. Then the main event was started at about 10 A.M. with a patriotic song sung by some students in chorus. The notable guests present on the dias delivered their valuable speeches. The chief guest in his brief but significant speech enlightened the subject among the students and the guardians. He said, “There are many career options which are unknown to us. Apart from being a teacher, an engineer, a doctor or a lawyer there are other options like oceanographer, volcanologist and many more to choose from.” He had also given the option to contact him anytime with any any kind of career counseling. The students were very lucky and proud to have him with them. All guardians and other attendees praised the school administration for organizing such an initiative programme.
