INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Buniadpur, 16th August,22 : Yesterday, ABC High School of Buniadpur celebrated the 75th year of Independence Day with dignity and reverence. On this occasion, the school building was decorated with flags, flowers and with the pictures of the martyrs. A large number of students dressed in school uniform, guardians and some local interested people took part in the function at about 8 O’clock in the morning. In the presence of a gleeful gathering the national flag was hoisted by the Headmaster of the school. After that the national anthem was sung by all students, teachers and others presented there. Then the cultural function was started with a patriotic opening song sung by a group of senior students. The B.D.O. of the local block presided over the function, and the Sabhapati of the Panchayat Samity was the chief guest in the programme. The Headmaster in his solemn speech paid homage to the brave martyrs of the country. After that the president of the school, some senior students, teachers and a guardian one after another delivered their valuable speeches in brief explaining the significance of the day. The programme ended up with the distribution of sweets among the students at about 2:30 P.M.
