BLOOD DONATION CAMP CONDUCTED BY A.B.C. HIGH SCHOOL

Buniadpur, 6th June, 2023 : The Eco-club of ABC High School organized a Blood Donation Camp in the school auditorium, yesterday. The camp ran for four hours. A Medical Team from the State General Hospital of Dakshin Dinajpur District conducted the camp. As many as students volunteered to make the camp a successful one. The act of Blood Donation started right at 9 A.M. The Headmaster of the school opened the camp by donating blood himself. Then some teachers, ex-students of the school and some local interested people came forward and donated blood. The total number of donors was 65. The members of the club well managed the whole situation. The president of the club said, “There is initially a long line of willing people, but the doctors have selected only 65 among them after proper medical check up.” He also mentioned that the blood would be sent to the local Blood Bank. The doctors advised the donors to take rest for few hours. The fruits, eggs, and breads were distributed among the donors. The doctors handed over the valuable Blood Donation Certificates to them. The programme successfully ended in the afternoon.
